Acer Palmatum - Katsura - Japanese Maple
This Acer provides one of the finest, most varied display of colour that you can find in a tree. The lobed leaves are a bright orange when they first emerge in spring, but they quickly turn to an orange-tinged yellow with a pink outline. As spring continues, the colour deepens to a rich green, but then in autumn the leaf changes full cycle back to a bright orange hue before they drop.
This tree has a very bushy habit
