Ornamental Trees

We sell a range of ornamental trees

Amalanchier

If you have room for a large tree giving colour for eight months of the year, then an Amalanchier should be on your shopping list.

Birch

We all know the Birch Tree, it is instantly recognisable by its white / silvery bark.   Merits a position in your garden.

Indian Bean Tree

An unusual tree, not well known. The colours on this tree during the summer and autumn months will delight you. If this is your choice it will be a talking point amongst visitors to your garden.

Crataegus

Better known as the Common Hawthorn. Whether you regard it as a large shrub or small tree you should find a space for it in your garden, we don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Corylus

Better known as Hazel tree.    This tree has year-round appeal, foliage that changes colour from spring until autumn and then is adorned in the winter months with purple-red catkins.

Eucalyptus

This tree definitely deserves more recognition than it is given.  Depending on the size of your garden you can allow it to grow or if space is at a premium keep it trimmed as a large shrub.    In either situation the silvery grey leaves will light-up a dark corner.

Gleditsa

Often referred to as “Gleditsa Sunburst” and the name says all you need to know about this tree.    It will be a golden beacon in your garden.

Laburnum

A well-known tree and you won’t go wrong if this is your choice.

Liquidamber

Also known as a Sweet Gum Tree, the colours on this tree in the autumn are magnificent.

Liriodendron

A more common name for this tree is the Tulip Tree.    You’ve only got to look at the “flowers” this tree produces to know why it is so-called.    A tree which, if visitors to your garden see it when it is in blossom, will generate many admiring comments.

Prunus Flowering Cherry

The range of Flowering Cherry trees is extensive as are the favourable comments associated with these trees.    There’s nothing new we can add to what has already been said about these trees, other than to say one of these trees should be in everyone’s garden.

Quercus

Known to everyone as an Oak tree.    This is truly a statement tree, if you have the space then you must have an Oak tree.    If there is a disadvantage it is that it is very slow-growing.

Robinia

A beautiful tree, no more needs to be said.

Salix

We all know this tree as a Willow tree and we all know the outstanding features of Willow trees.   Their graceful, weeping habit is a joy to behold.    If space permits then you should seriously consider filling it with a Willow tree.

Sorbus

Sorbus is often referred to as Mountain Ash or Rowan.    Whatever name you use the attributes of this tree are quite exceptional.    This tree merits serious attention.

We pride ourselves on giving our customers an excellent service, a wide choice of products and very competitive prices.
