A magnificent tree after several years, or a superb shrub if kept trimmed. It has flaking bark in shades of grey, cream, green and brown and silvery-blue, rounded leaves. Is probably the most well-known gum-tree in the UK. This tree is a vigurous grower and has a conical shape. Eventual height could be 10m(35ft).
Planting Instructions
Best planted in the Autumn as the moisture and heat allow easier and quicker root establishment.
Planting distance ideally should be 8m(25ft). Plant where the tree will get plenty of sunshine and has some shelter from cold winds.
When planting make sure the soill is wet and keep the tree well-watered afterwards.
