A brilliant splash of golden yellow foliage throughout summer and autumn, with rich coppery red new shoots in spring. Clusters of orchid-like flowers, white with yellow and purple markings, are borne in July and August, followed by distinctive long thin bean-pods that hang from the branches in autumn.
The tree has a spreading habit.
Size after ten years will be approximately 5m(16ft) tall by 4m(12ft) across
Planting Instructions
Suitable for all soil types preferably a well-drained area. Will grow well if planted in a full sun. Make sure the area where you are planting the tree is soaked prior to planting and it is kept well-watered afterwards.
