An evergreen oak tree which will develop a dome-shape. It has a dark gray bark, its leaves are dark green on top and silvery underneath. Yellow catkins will appear in June to be replaced by acorns in September.
This is a large tree and needs plenty of space around it.
Size after ten years will be 7m(24ft) x 5m(17ft), however the tree will continue growing for many years.
Planting Instructions
Needs to be planted in deep fertile soils.
Soak the planting area before planting and keep well-watered afterwards to ensure the tree becomes established.
