The Cambridge is a classic English gage variety. Similar to the Greengage but easier to grow. The green fruits ripen towards the end of August, the flesh is sweet and juicy with a mild honey flavour. Regarded as a good consistent cropper.

Self-fertile, but may be planted alongside other plum, damson or gage varieties to ensure best pollination. Best suited to a sheltered, warm site
Gage trees should be spaced approximately 4m(12ft) between trees.
Soak the area where you will be planting this tree and keep the tree well-watered afterwards.
