This tree will produce a heavy crop of large, green fruit, turning yellow with some russet as it matures. Creamy white flesh, sweet and juicy, with excellent pear flavour. One of the juiciest pears of its season. An added bonus is, beautiful white scented flowers appear during the spring lifting any garden appearance.
Will need pollination partner, Winter Nelis, Comis, Conference.

Merton Pride is in pollination group 3 and is self-fertile so it needs a suitable pollination partner nearby (ideally within 1/2 mile radius).
Pear trees should be spaced according to their rootstock. Quince A – semi-dwarf rootstock requires approximately 4m(12ft) between trees.
Soak the area where you will be planting this tree and keep the tree well-watered afterwards.
