A new variety of dual purpose plum, Guinevere is a compact, well-shaped tree with large purple/black plums. Primarily a dessert plum, they can also be used for cooking or preserves. Harvest in September
Planting Instructions
Self-fertile, but may be planted alongside other plum, damson or gage varieties to ensure best pollination.
Plum trees need a sunny site and a neutral soil to crop well,
Plum trees should be spaced according to their rootstock. St Julien A – semi-dwarf rootstock requires approximately 4m(12ft) between trees.
Soak the area where you will be planting this tree and keep the tree well-watered afterwards.
