The Damson Merryweather is an unusually large plum-shaped fruit. It is a reliable cropper of blue-black fruit. The flesh is yellowish-green, quite firm and juicy with an acidic flavour.

Damson trees should be spaced according to their rootstock. St Julien A – semi-dwarf rootstock requires approximately 4m(12ft) between trees.
Soak the area where you will be planting this tree and keep the tree well-watered afterwards.
