A large large and crisp English apple with a distinctive orange flush skin with a dry nutty flavour. A favourite of gardeners for many as it has good disease resistance including mildew. Doesn't store well so best eaten straight from the tree.
Harvest in October
Pollination Group C
Planting Instructions
Blenheim Orange is in pollination group 3 and is self-fertile so it needs a suitable pollination partner nearby (ideally within 1/2 mile radius). It is not a good pollinator for other apple trees.
Apple trees should be spaced according to their rootstock, M26 (semi-dwarf) rootstock requires approximately 3m(10ft) between trees.
Soak the ground where you are planting the tree prior to planting and ensure you keep it well-watered.
