The fruit has a bright green appearance. It is firm, crisp and with a sharp acidic flavour. As the apple originates from Australia the best flavour result are if we get a long hot summer!

Planting Instructions
Granny Smith is in pollination group 3 and is self-fertile so it needs a suitable pollination partner nearby (ideally within 1/2 mile radius).
Apple trees should be spaced according to their rootstock, M26 (semi-dwarf) rootstock requires approximately 3m(10ft) between trees.
Soak the ground where you are planting the tree prior to planting and ensure you keep it well-watered.
