An excellent Cox alternative which is considered to be easier to grow than the Cox apple.   Sweet, crisp and aromatic flavour.   The skin colour is yellow with extensive orange and red flushes.
Harvest time mid-October.

Planting Instructions

Kidd’s Orange Red is in pollination group 3 and is self-fertile so it needs a suitable pollination partner nearby (ideally within 1/2 mile radius).
Apple trees should be spaced according to their rootstock, M26 (semi-dwarf) rootstock requires approximately 3m(10ft) between trees.
Soak the ground where you are planting the tree prior to planting and ensure you keep it well-watered.
