Own a little piece of History. Also known as the Flower of Kent, this is the variety the famous scientist Sir Isaac Newton sat under when the notion of gravity came to him. Unusually late flowering so a useful variety in areas subject to late frosts. Large fruits that will cook to a sweet delicate flavoured puree. Good cropper, harvest late October

Planting Instructions

Howgate Wonder is in pollination group 3 and is self-fertile so it needs a suitable pollination partner nearby (ideally within 1/2 mile radius).
Apple trees should be spaced according to their rootstock, M26 (semi-dwarf) rootstock requires approximately 3m(10ft) between trees.
Soak the ground where you are planting the tree prior to planting and ensure you keep it well-watered.
