Beurre Hardy is a late-season good cropping Pear.Has a very upright growing habit so good in small gardens. As with all Pears, best picked them hard and let them ripen indoors. Medium sized fruit, light green in colour covered in russet. Excellent flavour, very juicy. In the Spring the tree will be covered with beautiful white blossom, and in the autumn the deep green leaves give great colour to red/orange before falling.
Will need a pollination partner, ie Conference, Comice, Winter Nelis, Merton Pride.
Harvest mid/late September
