Large clusters of prolific blue-black fruit with a wonderful sharp flavour. A small fruit than other damsons, ie the Merryweather. Delicious with yogurt or ice cream or in pies, jams and liqueurs. Can eaten straight from the tree when fully ripe.
Self-fertile.

Planting Instructions
Self-fertile, but may be planted alongside other plum, damson or gage varieties to ensure best pollination.
Damson trees need a sunny site and a neutral soil to crop well,
Damson trees should be spaced approximately 4m(12ft) between trees.
Soak the area where you will be planting this tree and keep the tree well-watered afterwards.
