Medlar trees will thrive in deep, fertile, well-drained soil but will tolderate most soil types. They will do best in a warm, sheltered position in full sun or partial shade.
Medlars should be spaced according to their rootstock. Quince A – semi-dwarf rootstock requires approximately 4m(12ft) between trees.
Soak the area where you will be planting this tree and keep the tree well-watered afterwards.
